There is power in pain.
Sometimes you feels alone. Sometimes you feel like your battle is a battle no one can understand because it’s happening in your mind. As a result, you constantly feel misunderstood and you feel like you’re a waste of dust and God’s breath. That’s what everyone makes you feel, so it has to be true right?
Why did he choose to create someone that can’t even understand themselves? Someone that refuses to understand that in order to understand why their pain exists they must understand God.
You are always in pain. If you’re always in pain, does God even love you?
Let me tell you again that there’s power in pain.
It (pain) demands to be felt because it always has something to teach us. Often, something direly important. So, don't ignore your pain. There is power in recognising it for what it is and that power can help you with understanding the things within you that still need growth.
But, don't worry. I get it. Turning your wounds into wisdom often feels like a pipe dream. When pain ravages your heart you often feel alone. You feel betrayed, hurt, discouraged, disappointed or disillusioned. I want you to know that God is very near you, even though you can’t feel him or hear him. He sees. He knows. He cares. Unfortunately, people will hurt you, because they are human and flawed. Some people simply can’t give you what you need or even or what you deserve.
They just don’t have it give. Don’t keep going to them for them for the things you can only get from God. More often than not, hurting people, hurt people. The pain they have caused isn’t always about you. It is very often about their own pain. Throw yourself upon Jesus. Cast your care upon him because he cares about you. He does truly care about you.
God loves you more in this moment than anyone could in a lifetime. You will be fine.
